These terms explain how DTB services, bookings, payments, products and client relationships work, including the responsibilities that apply when you use or purchase from us.

Last updated: September 2026

We may update this policy from time to time. the latest version will always be available on this page.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply when you use, book, purchase or engage with services or products provided by DTB Enterprises Ltd (“DTB”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

They are intended to set clear expectations about how our services, bookings, payments, products and client relationships operate.

These Terms should be read alongside our:

  • Privacy Policy;

  • Cookie Policy;

  • Accessibility Statement; and

  • Refund & Cancellations Policy.

Where a separate proposal, statement of work, service agreement, booking confirmation or supplier term applies, that document may contain additional or more specific terms. If there is a conflict, the more specific written agreement will normally take priority for that particular service.

DTB provides services across:

  • Organisations;

  • Professionals;

  • Learners;

  • Travel; and

  • digital and physical products through the DTB Store.

2. Who enters into the contract

For services purchased by an individual, the contract is normally between DTB and that individual.

For services purchased by an organisation, the organisation is the customer. Any person approving, commissioning or signing the agreement on behalf of the organisation confirms that they are authorised to do so.

Where services are provided to someone under the age of 18, a parent, guardian or other responsible adult will normally be the contracting and paying customer unless otherwise agreed.

3. When a contract is formed

A contract may be formed when:

  • you accept a written proposal or quotation;

  • you book and pay for a service;

  • you purchase a package or product;

  • you confirm acceptance of a booking or agreement in writing; or

  • we otherwise confirm that we have accepted your request for services.

We reserve the right to decline a booking or engagement where we believe the service is unsuitable, outside our scope, presents an unacceptable risk or cannot reasonably be delivered.

4. Service descriptions

We aim to describe our services, packages and products accurately.

However, the exact nature, scope and delivery of a service may vary depending on:

  • the client’s needs;

  • the agreed objectives;

  • the information provided to us;

  • the package or service purchased; and

  • any written proposal or service agreement.

Where a service is bespoke, the agreed written scope will take priority over general website descriptions.

5. Bookings and payment

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • individual sessions must be paid for in full before the appointment;

  • packages must be paid for in full before use;

  • products must be paid for at the point of purchase;

  • organisational consultancy may be paid in advance or under an agreed invoice schedule.

We may use third-party payment providers such as Stripe or PayPal.

You are responsible for ensuring that payment details are accurate and that sufficient funds are available.

6. Organisational invoices

For organisational clients, our standard invoice payment term is 14 days from the invoice date, unless another payment schedule has been agreed in writing.

Late payment may result in:

  • work being paused;

  • future sessions or deliverables being delayed;

  • further work being withheld until outstanding amounts are paid.

Where permitted by law, we may also exercise any statutory rights available in relation to late commercial payments.

7. Packages

Some DTB services are available in multi-session packages.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • a 4-session package is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase;

  • a 10-session package is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Unused sessions normally expire at the end of the stated validity period.

Expired sessions are not automatically refundable, subject to your statutory rights and the terms of our Refund & Cancellations Policy.

Extensions may be considered in exceptional circumstances at DTB’s discretion.

Packages are intended for the person who purchased them and may not be transferred to another person without prior agreement.

8. Late arrival, missed sessions and rescheduling

If you arrive late for a session, the session will normally still finish at the originally scheduled time.

DTB is not normally able to extend a session where lateness would affect another client or existing commitment.

Missed appointments, cancellations and rescheduling are subject to our separate Refund & Cancellations Policy.

Where DTB needs to cancel or rearrange a session, we will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative.

9. Organisational consultancy and scope changes

Organisational services are delivered according to the agreed scope.

If additional work is requested outside that scope, this may require:

  • additional fees;

  • a revised quotation;

  • additional time;

  • a new project phase; or

  • a separate agreement.

Examples may include:

  • additional meetings;

  • substantial document review;

  • additional workshops;

  • expanded research or analysis;

  • additional stakeholder engagement;

  • new deliverables;

  • work arising from issues that were not part of the original brief.

We will aim to discuss material scope changes before undertaking additional chargeable work.

Business Psychology Diagnostic

The Business Psychology Diagnostic is a consultancy service designed to provide structured analysis of organisational strengths, challenges, contributing factors and priorities for action.

The service may include questionnaire responses, review of supporting information, relevant research, a diagnostic consultation, analysis across DTB’s diagnostic framework, a written Diagnostic Brief and a follow-up debrief.

The Diagnostic Brief will normally be provided within 21 working days of the diagnostic consultation, provided all agreed supporting information has been received. Where material information is received later, the turnaround period may begin from the date the outstanding information is received.

The diagnostic is not a psychometric, clinical, legal, financial or regulatory assessment and should not be treated as such.

Findings represent DTB’s professional interpretation of the evidence available during the diagnostic process and may reflect the limitations, perspectives or gaps within that evidence.

Where a Business Psychology Diagnostic has commenced, including review of questionnaire responses, supporting documents, research, analysis or preparation, the client remains liable for work already undertaken even if the consultation is later cancelled or the client chooses not to continue.

Any refund or credit will be considered in accordance with DTB’s Refund & Cancellation Policy and the amount of work already completed.

10. Client responsibilities

To provide services effectively, we rely on clients to:

  • provide accurate and relevant information;

  • respond reasonably promptly where information is required;

  • attend agreed sessions or meetings;

  • complete agreed actions where appropriate;

  • disclose information that may materially affect the service;

  • treat DTB staff, associates and contractors respectfully;

  • use materials and recommendations responsibly.

We are not responsible for delays or reduced outcomes caused by incomplete, inaccurate or late information supplied by the client.

DTB’s analysis, findings and recommendations are based on the information reasonably available at the time of the work, including information provided by the client, supporting documents, consultation discussions and any other agreed evidence or research.

Clients are responsible for providing information that is accurate, complete and relevant to the work being undertaken.

Where information is incomplete, inconsistent, unavailable or later found to be materially different, DTB’s findings and recommendations may need to be revised or may carry limitations.

11. Professional and career support

  • CV development;

  • application support;

  • education or application support.

DTB does not:

  • complete assessed work on behalf of a learner;

  • write assignments for submission as the learner’s own work;

  • fabricate research or evidence;

  • assist with academic misconduct.

The learner remains responsible for the originality and integrity of any work they submit.

13. No guarantee of outcomes

DTB will provide services with reasonable care and skill.

However, we cannot guarantee particular outcomes.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • travel availability;

  • particular travel prices;

  • approval by third parties.

Our role is to provide professional support, analysis, guidance, development and practical assistance. Outcomes may also depend on factors outside DTB’s control.

14. Travel services

DTB may provide travel-planning and travel-adviser support.

Travel bookings are arranged through InteleTravel and/or relevant travel suppliers, rather than DTB acting as the underlying travel supplier.

The relevant supplier’s:

  • booking conditions;

  • payment terms;

  • cancellation terms;

  • amendment fees;

  • financial protection arrangements; and

  • other travel terms

may therefore apply to your booking.

Where applicable, these terms will be provided or made available as part of the booking process.

Travel prices and availability can change until a booking is confirmed.

DTB is not responsible for acts, omissions, delays or failures of airlines, cruise lines, hotels, tour operators, transport providers or other independent suppliers, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

  • visas;

  • entry requirements;

  • vaccinations or health requirements;

DTB may sell or provide digital products such as:

  • templates;

  • guides;

  • worksheets;

  • downloadable resources;

  • learning materials;

  • professional-development materials.

Further details are set out in our Refund & Cancellations Policy.

17. Physical products

DTB may sell physical products through the DTB Store.

Product availability, delivery times and fulfilment arrangements may vary.

Some products may be fulfilled by third-party suppliers.

Where this applies, those providers may process information necessary to deliver the order.

Any applicable delivery, returns or refund terms will be set out at the point of purchase or within our Refund & Cancellations Policy.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

18. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, DTB retains ownership of intellectual property it creates, including:

  • training materials;

  • frameworks;

  • templates;

  • reports;

  • guides;

  • presentations;

  • worksheets;

  • diagnostic materials;

  • written resources;

  • website content.

Where materials are provided to a client, the client is normally granted a licence to use them for the purpose for which they were supplied.

For example:

  • a professional may use and edit a CV prepared for them;

  • an organisation may use consultancy materials internally;

  • a learner may use learning resources for their own development.

Unless specifically agreed, clients may not commercially resell, reproduce or distribute DTB materials to third parties.

19. Client materials and intellectual property

You retain ownership of materials you provide to DTB.

By providing materials to us, you confirm that:

  • you are entitled to provide them;

  • their use by DTB for the agreed service will not knowingly infringe third-party rights.

You grant DTB permission to use those materials only as reasonably necessary to deliver the requested service.

20. Confidentiality

DTB will treat client information as confidential where reasonably expected.

Confidentiality may be limited where disclosure is necessary for:

  • safeguarding;

  • serious risk to life or safety;

  • legal obligations;

  • prevention or investigation of crime;

  • regulatory requirements;

  • insurance purposes;

  • professional advice;

  • establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.

We may also use contractors, associates or service providers where necessary, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection arrangements.

Our handling of personal data is explained further in our Privacy Policy.

21. Professional boundaries

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, DTB’s current consultancy, professional-development and learner services are not:

  • psychotherapy;

  • medical treatment;

  • legal advice;

  • regulated financial advice.

Where specialist professional advice is required, you should consult an appropriately qualified professional.

If DTB introduces regulated or therapeutic services in future, separate or additional terms may apply.

22. Third-party platforms

DTB uses third-party platforms for activities such as:

  • scheduling;

  • payments;

  • forms;

  • communications;

  • travel bookings;

  • e-commerce;

  • cloud services.

We take reasonable care when selecting providers but do not control their systems, availability or terms.

Where you use a third-party platform directly, that provider’s own terms and privacy information may also apply.

23. Suspension or termination of services

DTB may suspend or end a service where:

  • payment remains overdue;

  • the agreed service is no longer suitable;

  • the client behaves abusively or inappropriately;

  • information has been materially misrepresented;

  • continuing would create a legal, ethical, safeguarding or professional concern;

  • the working relationship has broken down;

  • circumstances make continued delivery unreasonable.

Where possible, we will explain the reason and any financial implications.

Clients may also end ongoing services in accordance with the applicable cancellation terms.

24. Complaints and concerns

If you are unhappy with a DTB service, please contact: hello@dtbenterprises.co.uk

We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and respond as soon as reasonably practicable.

We may ask for further information where needed to understand or investigate the concern properly.

25. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

This includes liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;

  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

  • other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to this, DTB is not responsible for:

  • indirect or consequential loss;

  • loss arising from decisions made independently by the client;

  • loss resulting from inaccurate information supplied by the client;

  • loss caused by third-party providers outside DTB’s reasonable control;

  • outcomes that were not guaranteed.

Where legally permitted, DTB’s total liability in relation to a particular service will normally be limited to the amount paid or payable to DTB for that service, unless a different limitation is agreed in writing.

This clause does not affect statutory consumer rights.

26. Events outside our reasonable control

DTB will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control.

These may include:

  • serious illness;

  • technology failure;

  • internet or platform outages;

  • industrial action;

  • natural disasters;

  • government restrictions;

  • supplier disruption;

  • other events that could not reasonably have been prevented.

We will make reasonable efforts to minimise disruption and communicate where appropriate.

27. Changes to services or these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect:

  • changes to DTB services;

  • changes to our systems;

  • legal or regulatory developments;

  • new products or service areas;

  • changes to how the business operates.

The latest version will be published on the website with the most recent update date shown at the top.

Changes will not normally alter an existing agreed contract retrospectively unless required by law or agreed with the customer.

28. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

29. No waiver

If DTB does not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, this does not mean that the right has been waived.

30. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Where you are acting as a consumer, you may also have rights under the law applicable where you live.

Any dispute will be subject to the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law.
